This seminar will explain how attorneys can query facilities using Rhode Island public records law and will also highlight various methods of legal practice, such contrasting state vs. federal public records law to obtain information, often on behalf of animals and people.
Attorney Rudloff’s caseload has included multiple lawsuits against national restaurant chains for failing to warn consumers of carcinogens in grilled chicken products; a consumer protection suit against processed meat manufacturers; and litigation against federal agencies for violations of the Administrative Procedure Act in addition to the use of open government laws, at both the state and federal level to obtain information about medical research involving animals.
