Description

In this program Adam Fisher discusses the historical development of legal ethics in society. In the heart of his discussion, he zeros in on the 5 Judicial Canons, paying particular attention to Canon 501 (guidance for ethics rules) and Canon 502 (enforcement).

Adam also discusses ethics advisory opinions and the case, In the Matter of English. This case can be used to give guidance to magistrates and other members of the judiciary regarding the issues of impropriety and impartiality.
