This special program brings you together with members of the judiciary and their court clerks. You will learn what the judges look for in their courtrooms, the differences between and among the Motion and Formal/Special Calendars, the judges’ view on top-notch courtroom presentations, and presenting demonstrative evidence. The judges will share their thoughts on e-filing and the changes in the courtroom process the Bar should expect.
The court clerks have a special role in the courtroom. They share their tips to help you organize, plan, and present your case, and discuss what they can and can’t do for you. They will also review some of the common errors attorneys make that may impede the progress of a case in the court.
This is a unique opportunity to spend a few hours off the bench with members of our Superior Court. Take advantage of this chance to ask the judges what they see as the most effective presentation of your case in their courtrooms. Lawyers from all levels of experience will benefit from this insightful discussion.
